WORD & WISDOM

How to Play

A Kingdom Quest Games Bible trivia challenge

The Wall of Wisdom

  • The board has six categories, each with five clues that rise in value (100 to 500 by default).
  • Play with 2 to 6 teams, or with single players as their own teams.
  • Any team may start. That team picks a category and a value, and the host opens the clue.

Answering

  • The host reads the clue aloud. Teams answer in plain words; no special phrasing is needed.
  • If the answer timer is on, teams must answer before it runs out (5 seconds by default; change it in setup).
  • Correct: the team earns the clue's points.
  • Wrong: the points are taken away, and the host may let another team try. Scores can drop below zero.
  • The team that answers correctly picks the next clue.

Double Portion

  • Named for Elisha's request for a double portion of Elijah's spirit (2 Kings 2:9).
  • One clue on the board hides a Double Portion. The team that finds it places a wager from 0 up to its score, or up to the round's top clue value if its score is lower.
  • Only that team may answer. Correct adds the wager; wrong subtracts it.

Deeper Waters (Round Two)

  • "Launch out into the deep" (Luke 5:4). A second board with doubled values (200 to 1000).
  • Two Double Portions are hidden on this board.
  • The team in last place picks first.
  • This round is optional; switch it off in setup for a shorter game.

The Last Trumpet

  • One final clue ends the game. The category is shown first.
  • Each team wagers any amount from 0 up to its score.
  • The clue is revealed, every team writes down its answer, and the host marks each team right or wrong.
  • The highest score wins.

Running the game

  • The host runs the board. Tap a clue, read it aloud, then tap Reveal Answer.
  • Tap ✓ to award points or ✗ to take them away. Scores update automatically, and Undo fixes a mis-tap.
  • Use Dual Screen to show the board on a TV or projector while the host keeps the answers on their own screen.
